Matrescence Minds: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Treatment Group for Maternal Anxiety

We are excited to announce the launch of our new perinatal anxiety cognitive behavioural therapy treatment group at Lotus Counselling Services. This group is open to any pregnant and parenting mothers (with children under 2 years) who are currently struggling with anxiety.

Join us at Matrescence Minds to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of motherhood and to equip yourself with practical tools for managing maternal anxiety. Together, we'll work towards a more balanced and fulfilling journey through motherhood.

The group will be 8 weeks long, with a virtual and in-person option available (not interchangeable at this time). As the groups will be lead by Stephanie Kolaski, a Registered Psychotherapist, individuals who have benefits coverage will be able to submit for reimbursment. For those who do not have coverage, we are able to offer sliding scale and other financial aid options.
